Mormon Wives Cast Refuse To ‘Be Associated With’ Taylor Frankie Paul Amid Ex Drama — Source

Trigger Warning: This article contains a discussion of domestic violence allegations.

There is a tension in MomTok, and for a disturbing reason. Season 4 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives recently dropped on Hulu. Once again, it centered around the chaotic dynamic between Tayler Frankie Paul and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.

Their on-and-off toxic relationship has been a part of the series since Season 1. The SLOMW cast was thrilled when Taylor was cast as the new Bachelorette. However, according to Dakota, the former couple had sex the night before she left to hand out roses.

Now Season 5 of SLOMW has stopped filming, reportedly because of Taylor and Dakota’s alleged actions. A spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department told PEOPLE that there was a “domestic assault investigation” involving Dakota and Taylor. The spokesperson stated that “allegations have been made in both directions.” They added that “contact was made with involved parties on [Feb] 24th and 25th.”

Meanwhile, the members of MomTok are dealing with the fallout. “None of the women want to be associated with her,” an insider told PEOPLE. Meanwhile, a source that is tight with production claimed, “The girls are very overwhelmed. They all banded together, and they don’t want to come back right now. They were just getting tired of Taylor, honestly.”

The insider alleged, “They kind of all decided, as a unit, that they’re taking the production pause, that they don’t want to film right now. I don’t think they care about her really right now.”

However, an insider in Taylor’s camp denied that she was “violent” during the incident with Dakota and that she is “focused” on her Bachelorette premiere. Still, in 2023, Taylor was arrested for domestic violence and given misdemeanor charges of assault, commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child, and criminal mischief. In the meantime, both Dakota and Taylor were reportedly instructed to get psychological evaluations by the Utah Division of Child and Family Services.

The Bachelorette Season 22 premieres March 22 on ABC. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming on Hulu.
