Taylor Frankie Paul’s journey as The Bachelorette ended with the season being shelved. However, one of Taylor’s suitors, Brad Ledford, was involved in a car accident that resulted in Madison Cawthorn being paralyzed. And there was drama between the former friends involving the accident.
Meanwhile, Taylor’s season was canceled amid her involvement in a domestic abuse investigation
Brad Ledford was involved in the crash that left Madison Cawthorn paralyzed

Reportedly, Brad was driving the car during the 2014 car accident that left former Republican congressman Madison paralyzed. During a 2017 speech, Madison claimed that Brad did not try to rescue him. “He was my brother, my best friend, and he [left] me in a car to die in a fiery tomb,” Madison alleged. “He runs to safety deep in the woods and just leaves me in a burning car as the flames start to lick my legs and curl up and burn my left side.”
Meanwhile, Brad denied Madison’s allegations. “That is not at all what happened,” Brad told The Washington Post. “I pulled him out of the car the second that I was able to get out of the car.” Eventually, the men were able to mend their friendship.
In addition, Brad’s Bachelorette bio shared some details about this “cowboy/entrepreneur.” It read in part, “If Taylor is searching for a handsome California cowboy, she won’t have to look any further than Brad. When he’s not on the ranch, Brad enjoys swing dancing, hanging at the beach, and listening to Adele.”
Of course, some of the bachelors are hopeful that they will still have a chance to find love on Bachelor in Paradise. Before the show was pulled, some suitors were understandably upset about the allegations surrounding Taylor.
The Bachelorette and The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives are streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
