Dolores Catania Names Real Housewives of Rhode Island Villain

It’s no secret that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania has been a big part of Bravo’s newest franchise. Dolo happens to be a close friend of Real Housewives of Rhode Island cast member Liz McGraw. Apparently, we’ll be seeing a lot of Dolo as a “friend” of RHORI.

Since she’s already been filming for several months, who better than Dolores to give us a hint of what we’re in for with the new cast of characters?

Dolores Catania returned to the WWHL Clubhouse

On March 26, Dolores was a guest on Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen asked her to “share one titillating teaser about each gal … Starting with Liz, your doppelganger.”

“I love her, I’m biased,” Dolo admitted. “She’s fiercely loyal, but she’s savage when she gets mad.”

“Yes,” Andy agreed. “Would not want to cross her … How about Alicia [Carmody]?”

“Alicia’s so funny,” Dolores continued. They both agreed that she reminds them of Teresa Giudice (uh oh). “There’s some Alicia-isms … She’s funny, [but] she’s tough, too.”

“What about Jo-Ellen [Tiberi]?” Andy asked.

“We’re going to love her as the villain,” the mom of two decided. “She could be charismatic, like any serial killer. You don’t even know.”

“What about Ashley [Iaconetti]?” Andy wondered. “We met Ashley on The Bachelor. She’s a Housewife now.”

“I told her she can’t cry in front of me,” Dolo explained. “[Ashley]’s so kind. I don’t know if she’s cut out for the [Housewives universe] … Ashley cries a lot.”

Next up is Kelsey [Swanson]. “Oh, I like Kelsey,” Dolores said. “Kelsey’s honest. She’s like, I’m here, this is what I do, I got a boyfriend, he’s older, I like his money … If you don’t like it, I don’t really care.”

“Now, Kelsey’s doppelganger, Rosie [DiMare],” Andy went on.

“Rosie’s nosy,” is all Dolo had to say.

“Last, but not least,” Andy concluded, “Lebanese queen Rula [Nehme Pontarelli].”

“I’m close with Rula,” Dolores said. “She’s handled a lot of things with grace … I’m team Rula, but she handles things a lot different than we do in New Jersey.”

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premieres Thursday, April 2 on Bravo. It will stream on Peacock the following day.
