Meghan Markle drops an apology for ‘crashing’ a TikTok party in the ladies room
Meghan Markle recently issued an apology on her Instagram post for crashing a TikTok “party” in the ladies’ room. She shared the apology on her March 20 post, where she even mentioned being “Proud to honor my forever friend @_heartmom_ for her outstanding work for @allianceforchildrensrights and @allianceofmoms. Kelly, you are one of one.”
“Such a special evening + kudos to the gals in the ladies room doing a tik tok video (!) Sorry we crashed your party, but it was too good not to share,” she stated. The Duchess of Sussex attended the Alliance for Children’s Rights’ 34th Annual Champions for Children event last week at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills.
The former actor was the star guest at the Los Angeles awards ceremony and presented an award to her close friend, Kelly McKee Zajfen, for her work with Alliance of Moms and Alliance for Children’s Rights. Zajfen has even appeared on Markle’s Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan,” last year.
Markle’s recap video showed her and her friend stumbling upon two women filming a TikTok video in the bathroom. She even shook hands with them after interrupting their filming. However, the duchess encouraged them to carry on as she watched from the side, smiling and cheering for one of the women who was dancing as the other filmed her on the phone. Markle and the girls then shared a good laugh after filming the shot.
Speaking to Hello! magazine at the Champions for Children function, the Zajfen said it meant so much to have one of her “best friends,” Markle, there. “I’m honored that she said yes [to presenting] and that she’s been along this journey with me as well. She supports the Alliance and she’s been doing this for a few years now,” said Zajfen.
