We are all trying to piece together what the hell is going on with the Summer House cast, and apparently, so is Kyle Cooke. His estranged wife, Amanda Batula, just went public with their castmate, West Wilson, and it’s all extremely messy.
Kyle just broke his silence about the situation, and he says he did get a heads-up that Amanda and West were about to drop that joint statement. What he doesn’t understand is why Bravo fans are going so hard on Amanda without recognizing West’s part in all of this.
Kyle says his ex is being “cyberbullied” and gave him a heads up
In an explosive new interview, Kyle gave his candid reaction to this newly revealed Amanda and West situationship. He said that it all feels like a “mind f*ck,” especially as Season 10 continues to play out on Bravo.
Rumors are swirling that Kyle didn’t get a warning about West and Amanda’s statement. Kyle said he spoke with her before they went public. He said West also sent him a “half-assed” text.
However, that doesn’t make the impact any less severe. Kyle said that he’s “obviously frustrated” with what has unfolded, but he’s mostly “worried” about Amanda’s well-being. He said she’s not doing well, and he feels like Bravo fans are cyberbullying her. Meanwhile, West has seen a bump in his Instagram following.
Kyle said, “I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior, but from what I’m seeing, she’s kind of getting cyberbullied.”
“At the end of the day, all I know is West seems to be the kind of guy playing multiple women at the same time,” Kyle continued. “And I just looked, somehow, in all of this, 50,000 people have decided that West deserves their follow, and meanwhile they’re just lighting up Amanda. I just feel bad.”
Kyle went on to say that Amanda knows that what she did was wrong. She’s supposedly “trying to come to terms with it,” but not handling it well.
He said, “I’m obviously disappointed in her, but just hearing her and how unwell she is. You know, dark thoughts. I just ask people to just maybe let off the gas a little bit with the cyberbullying and the hate.”
