Drita D’Avanzo Talks Harvey Weinstein Relationship When Shooting Mob Wives: ‘Jerk off Way About Him’

When you think of Mob Wives, you probably aren’t thinking about Harvey Weinstein, but unfortunately, he had his grimy little hands on that show, too. The Weinstein Company produced the iconic VH1 show, and Drita D’Avanzo just opened up about what it was like having him involved in their show. Of course, it wasn’t pleasant.

The reality TV star spoke of the disgraced director’s behavior with women

Drita recently sat down on The Legally Goff podcast, and their conversation covered a lot of ground. From her criminal ex-husband to her current run on House of Villains, Drita dove into it all. When the host asked about Harvey’s connection to Mob Wives, Drita made her stance crystal clear.

“That f*ck face,” Drita said at the sheer mention of his name.

According to Drita, the creators of Mob Wives originally had trouble getting the show picked up. Harvey was one of the few producers willing to give them a chance. However, Drita didn’t always see eye to eye with him.

“I wasn’t the biggest fan of Harvey. He kind of had a way about him,” Drita recalled. “I could see his jerk off way about him.”

Harvey’s company produced the show, but Drita said he didn’t have a visible presence on set. When the show took off, she felt like he didn’t acknowledge its success.

Drita said, “Mob Wives was a big hit, huge success, and he kind of bashed it a bit, like as if it was beneath him.”

Obviously, Harvey has a storied history of sexual assault, but Drita said she never had any experiences like that with him. That was a wise decision on his part because Drita offered up a vivid description of what would have happened to him if he tried something.

“He didn’t really f*ck with me, and I seen what he did with other women,” Drita said. “I would have jumped and smashed his f*cking knee cap because he had a problem with one of his knees. I would have focused on that, and I would have broke that sh*t in half if he did that shit to me.”

“So that’s that,” she concluded. “He didn’t really come at me like that.”

Mob Wives is streaming on Paramount+.
