The Duchess of Sussex recently took to Instagram to share snippets of her Easter celebrations with her two beyond-adorable children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The overall vibe was simple, playful, and very family-first. These photos and videos clearly showed how the simplest celebration-ready things in life can be the ones that make up special moments.
This post showed the kids engaging in classic Easter traditions like egg hunting, basket-making, and fun outdoor sports. It showed how Lilibet dressed all festive for the occasion with pink bunny ears and how Archie got extra creative while crafting and decorating the eggs. They also ran around playing with chickens and their dog, having the time of their lives.
At the end of the day, it was all about just how normal and down-to-earth Markle’s celebration seemed to be. There was no royal setting, no formal extravaganza, or even extra courtesy. It was just a mom having some light family-friendly fun with her kids, who were clearly enjoying themselves.
Meanwhile, the rest of the British royal family celebrated the occasion with a traditional pizzazz-laden church service in Windsor. There was clearly something quietly powerful about this obvious contrast.
