As the mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani has to be prepared for any type of crisis impacting his city. That includes the Summer House scandal currently unfolding in the headlines, thanks to West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s problematic romance.
Although Mayor Mamdani is not a Summer House viewer, he has been briefed on the situation. In a new interview, he weighed in on the drama and shared some words of support for our beloved Ciara Miller.
The NYC Mayor thanked the Summer House star for saving lives
Mayor Mamdani was recently flagged down by Adam Glyn. It’s the same street interviewer who recently spoke to Kyle Cooke and birthed the “Carl’s a mess” meme. He asked the mayor for his take on the Summer House scandal.
“I gotta be honest. Someone tried to explain it,” Mamdani began. “I’m not quite up on it.”
Adam gave him the CliffsNotes version of what happened, explaining how Ciara experienced a shocking betrayal when her ex hooked up with her friend. From there, he asked the mayor what advice he would give to Ciara as she determines her next move.
“That’s rough,” Mamdani replied. “I guess the first thing I would say to her is thank you for saving people’s lives. She was a nurse, I think. We appreciate that. We appreciate her in New York City.”
Of course, Ciara isn’t the only one navigating a betrayal in all of this. Kyle is also caught in the middle, trying to wrap his head around his estranged wife falling for West, but unfortunately, Mamdani didn’t have any words of support for that. He doesn’t know who Kyle is. The words “Loverboy” and “send it” mean absolutely nothing to him.
Mamdani said, “Brother, I don’t know who that is.”
