Jessica Alba Shares ‘Wild’ Moment in New Video

Jessica Alba is awestruck because she had a moment that made her feel like she has made it big. “The Honest Company” founder posted an Instagram video after learning that an astronaut on NASA’s Artemis II mission wanted one of her products in a care package while in space. Alba shared the Reel on Tuesday, reacting to a clip featuring astronaut Christina Koch’s very specific request.

In the audio message, astronaut Christina Koch says, “Yes, this one might take some digging,” and adds, “I’m looking for a specific community hygiene item that is ‘Honest’ lotion.” The video shows Jessica Alba smiling in disbelief as she listens. She then answers, saying, “What? That is wild,” clearly overwhelmed by the moment.

Alba gets emotional as she explains what the moment means to her. She recalls why she started “The Honest Company” in the first place, saying that she built the company around the idea of making “safer products,” and named it as a gesture toward her 17-year-old daughter, Honor Warren.

Then Alba explains as she processes, “And then…now it’s in space! What?” She says, “That is wild. This is a trip. This is a moment I never thought would be my real life,” ending with, “And so anyone out there who has any dreams of anything, just go after it, because you never know. I mean, your products can be in space.”

Alba founded “The Honest Company” in 2012 and served as Chief Creative Officer until 2024. Meanwhile, Koch is one of four astronauts who launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on April 1 for Artemis II — and the 10-day mission will take the crew around the far side of the moon and back, making it the first mission of its kind since Apollo 17 in 1972.

It all adds up to a “wild” moment for Jessica Alba, urging everyone out there to keep dreaming big.
