Alba reportedly got the matching tattoos shortly after Honor turned 18. The actress enlisted Los Angeles tattoo artist Daniel “Winterstone” Winter. He inked matching radiant eyes onto their left wrists.
The tattoos reportedly marked a special mother-daughter experience. Winterstone described the moment as an “unforgettable experience” on Instagram. He also called it a memory the pair would share forever.
Honor reportedly revealed the tattoos through a mother-daughter photograph. She shared a picture of herself holding Alba’s hand. The snap featured the caption, “Me x Mama ♾️♾️♾️.”
Eye tattoos can reportedly symbolize protection, awareness, guidance, and intuition. The matching design therefore carried a meaningful message for the pair. Their placement also made the gesture especially personal.
The tattoos reportedly came less than a month after Honor became a legal adult. She celebrated her 18th birthday on June 7. Alba previously shared an emotional tribute to her daughter.
“I could not be more proud of the young woman you have become,” Alba wrote. She said part of her wanted to keep Honor close forever. However, she also wanted to watch her daughter explore the world.
Honor is preparing for another major transition this fall. She will study English and film studies at Yale University. The aspiring filmmaker also recently made her directorial debut.
Honor directed a 16-minute short film titled “Unsaid.” The project premiered on Vimeo on July 2. Her creative interests have continued to shape her next chapter.
Alba and Honor share a close relationship alongside Alba’s two younger children. Alba also shares Haven and Hayes with Cash Warren. The couple finalized their divorce in February after 16 years of marriage.
Meanwhile, Alba has continued pursuing several acting projects. She is set to appear in Netflix’s reimagining of “13 Going on 30.” She also has multiple upcoming film projects in development.
