Ethan Jamieson reportedly arrested for assault
According to the court documents obtained by PEOPLE, Jamieson has been arrested for allegedly assaulting three men with a 9mm handgun with the intent to kill in Raleigh, N.C. The three men in question were identified as E.F., J.M., and K.W., per the documents.
On March 22, the authorities were informed about the incident at 9:52 pm, when shots rang out. They arrived at the scene when the three victims shared details about the incident, revealing that an unverified person on an e-bike struck their vehicle with a handgun. This happened while driving, with two people also being present in the passenger seat.
An investigation was opened that helped verify the identity of the alleged shooter, who was later identified as Jamieson. He reportedly pointed the gun in the vehicle’s direction. Following his arrest, he was denied bail. He will be appearing before the court on April 30 for a disposition hearing. This is the second legal run-in he had, following the reported 2025 arrest over resisting a public officer.
In a past interview, Jamieson shared his feelings on becoming a brief part of such a big franchise as the Hunger Games. He said, “I knew that the books were popular. He added, “But I didn’t know that the movie was going to be so big.” Ahead of filming, Jamieson did read the popular books to prepare for the role. But he was unaware that it could turn out to be this successful. The movie grossed $695.2 million worldwide, paving the path for its sequels.
