Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Taking ‘Huge Gamble’ With Australia Tour — Expert

All eyes are on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry as they make their latest international appearance on the Australia tour. Featuring a packed schedule of appearances, the visit highlights their continued efforts to stay active on the global stage.

However, according to claims from insiders and experts, the trip may not be as straightforward as it appears. Instead, it could represent a strategic, potentially risky move that may influence how both the public and the Palace respond going forward.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Australia tour ‘is certain to displease the Palace,’ per expert

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams has claimed that the Sussexes’ visit to Australia could create tension with the royal family. He described the trip as a “huge gamble,” alleging that its structure may not sit well with the Palace.

“They have arranged a ‘faux royal tour’ to Australia, which is certain to displease the Palace as it is one of the King’s realms,” Fitzwilliams reportedly told Fox News Digital. He added that the situation may draw comparisons to their official 2018 tour, which remains a widely remembered moment from their time as working royals.

Unlike that earlier visit, this tour is said to be privately organized rather than officially sanctioned. Despite that, the couple’s itinerary reportedly mirrors elements of a traditional royal tour, including public engagements and speaking appearances.

Harry is expected to deliver a keynote speech at a summit in Melbourne, focusing on workplace wellbeing. Meanwhile, Meghan is reportedly set to headline a luxury retreat in Sydney. For the occasion, the attendees will pay premium prices for access.

Additional insider reports suggest the Palace is not outwardly reacting to the visit. One source alleged that the lack of response may indicate the royal family does not view the tour as a direct concern. Another claim pointed out that the trip appeared to be somewhat “unstructured.”

On the ground, however, the couple appears engaged. They have reportedly visited community organizations, spent time with families, and participated in charitable activities. One insider even claimed they seemed upbeat and treated the trip as a chance to “reset.”
