Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, has landed himself in hot water … but not for letting slip details of her alleged wedding to Tom Holland. Instead, the Project Runway judge is facing backlash over comments he made about his first-class seat on a flight.
The Project Runway judge was “very disappointed” not to get a “lay flat seat”
In a post on X addressing Delta, Law complained about the seating on a recent flight he took. “This morning I paid for a Delta One seat from NYC to LA, and when I got on the plane, it was not a lay flat seat,” he said. “I was very disappointed.”
Law’s comments received a mixed reaction.
Responding to his post, one person (@BookofJonah) shared a GIF from Keeping Up With The Kardashians. In it, Kourtney Kardashian reminds Kim Kardashian that “there’s people that are dying.” Kourtney delivered the infamous line – which has since become a popular meme – when her sister kicked up a fuss about losing a diamond earring in the ocean on vacation.
“Omg, poor you. It must have been horrendous for you,” @allibailey123 replied to Law’s post, with just a hint of sarcasm. “Thoughts and prayers to you and your family during this difficult time,” added @ericmason22.
“Your first-world problems are stupid,” shared @alberto_ayvar, while @jeremyc40569552 said: “Spoken like a true elitist! Do you realize there are people in the world who have never had the luxury of being able to travel?”
Elsewhere, others were more sympathetic to Law’s experience. “They’re dragging him, but if I paid a 1,000+ to sit up straight for 6 hours, I would be mad too,” posted @blackgirlbytes.
As for how Delta reacted to Law’s post? A spokesperson for the airline told PEOPLE that a “last-minute aircraft change” was to blame. “We apologize to Mr Roach for his experience,” they said. “Our Customer Care team has reached out and is working directly with him to address the situation.”
