Supporters of President Donald Trump were left outraged after Jenna Bush Hager hosted a segment on the Today Show. In it, she spoke to four former presidents, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, George W. Bush, and Joe Biden, ahead of America’s 250th anniversary, leaving out Trump from the equation. Fans of the current President believe that she was biased in excluding Trump. This also led to many reactions on social media platforms like X.
Donald Trump’s absence in Jenna Bush’s segment has fans talking
Fans of Donald Trump expressed outrage towards Jenna Bush Hager for not inviting the current President to a segment on Today. In the program, she invited four former presidents to address the American people as the country approaches its 250th anniversary. Bill Clinton, who served from 1993 to 2001, has made an appearance on the program. Others include George W. Bush (2001 to 2009), Barack Obama (2009 to 2017), and Joe Biden (2021 to 2025).
However, the incumbent US President was not on the list.
This has caused outrage amongst its supporters. Many took to social media platforms like X to slam Jenna Bush Hager for her apparent biasness. One point to note in this context is that she is the daughter of George W. Bush.
One user wrote on X, “Left leaning NBC only shows Jenna Bush interviews with 4 Past Presidents for America’s 250 celebration! Why wouldn’t you interview the current President NBC???!!! All media needs to be UNBIASED…What a shame we can’t see equal journalism from our local and cable news outlets.” Another wrote, ” Hey, @JennaBushHager, no one cares what the 4 former presidents who were so weak think. We care what the current bulldog says.”
A third user wrote, “Wonder why she wouldn’t include President Trump?” while another user added, “@JennaBushHager doesn’t sit with the current @POTUS means she is just doing another DNC fluff piece. No thanks. Either do all living or just say, I am a political hack.”
Interestingly, this comes as the nation remains divided over Donald Trump’s stance on the Iran War.
