You can’t hide forever. That is the message a former FBI agent is delivering to whoever might have played a part in Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. The search continues for the 84-year-old mother of three, last seen with her daughter, Annie, on January 31.
Jim Clemente is a former FBI profiler. He believes that whoever allegedly took Nancy “will be caught.”

A series of mistakes may eventually lead to an arrest in this matter. Jim believes that will happen at some point, saying the suspect involved has made numerous errors. After photos were revealed of somebody at Nancy’s porch the night, she was reportedly abducted. Jim believes that whoever that was probably has changed his appearance. Speaking to Parade, Jim says the suspect is, is likely “watching every bit of coverage” in the search for Nancy.
In February, the FBI posted photos of the kidnapping suspect. They asked the public to come forward if they had any information. Additionally, authorities released a physical description of the person allegedly involved. Police came up with the description after a masked person was caught on Nancy’s doorbell camera.
While the reported kidnapper may be trying to correct past mistakes, it could be too late. Lisa Ribacoff-Mooney, a private investigator, says that covering up the camera won’t erase any data, as the suspect can’t do so. Lisa, though, isn’t the only one she’s baffled by. She says the investigation conducted by the Pima County Sheriff’s Department should serve as a blueprint for what not to do in a case like this. Nancy’s been missing for nearly three months, while police have yet to apprehend a suspect in this matter. They’ve received thousands of tips to no avail.
