A lot is going on in the Summer House world thanks to West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s sloppy little love connection. The scandal has occupied most of our minds for weeks, so you might have missed this other conspiracy theory that’s been floating around the internet. People think they’re doing drugs right in front of us.
There’s a theory suggesting that some of the Summer House cast are getting high on cocaine and using “showering” as a code word to get away with it on camera. It’s like the “pasta” argument on Vanderpump Rules all over again, but is there any truth to it?

Allegations of cocaine use have been floating around this cast for a bit, but this “showering” theory really took off thanks to a TikToker who called out a recent episode where West asked the guys if they planned on “showering” before going out for the night.
“It’s not about showering, it’s about doing drugs,” the TikToker alleged.
They continued, “People are starting to say that his group talks about showering a lot, but everyone looks dirty, especially him.”
Of course, there’s literally no evidence to support that the boys are using code words to sneak their drug usage on set. Showering could very well mean exactly what it sounds like. However, this isn’t the first time that theories about code words and drugs have hit the Bravoverse.
On Vanderpump Rules, everyone thought that James Kennedy’s “It’s not about the pasta” line had some sort of deeper meaning. The always-credible Rachel Leviss went on her podcast a couple of years ago and denied it. She said it was literally about the pasta.
Similarly, on The Real Housewives of Miami, fans accused Lisa Hochstein’s boyfriend, Jody Glidden, of using “AC” as a code word for cocaine. In actuality, he was looking for air conditioning because it’s hotter than hell in Miami.
With all of that in mind, we’ve got to take this “showering” theory with a huge grain of salt. These boys could legitimately be trying to improve their hygiene. And there are bigger scandals in the Summer House world that deserve our full and undivided attention.
