Viral video shows Donald Trump sharing awkward PDA with wife Melania
US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump recently welcomed King Charles and Queen Camilla to the White House on April 28. However, it was Donald’s PDA with his wife while shaking hands with the monarch that was captured on camera, and it has now left the Internet talking.
The viral clip shows the president placing his left hand on his spouse’s back while greeting the British royal members. However, soon after Donald moves his hand down to her behind, he quickly refrains before moving his hand up to her back again. Needless to say, right after the clip went viral, social media users shared their opinions on the awkward moment.
Nevertheless, after greeting the monarch and the Queen, the President gave a speech at the welcome ceremony and talked about how his Scottish-born mother, Mary Anne MacLeod, had a “crush” on young Charles. Donald even talked about how long his parents were married, expressing his doubts about matching the numbers with his wife.
The President said his parents “were married for 63 years,” before turning to Melania and saying, “And, uh, excuse me, if you don’t mind, that’s a record we won’t be able to match, darling. I’m sorry, it’s just not going to work out that way. We’ll do well, but we’re not going to do that well.”
He then recalled that his mother once called young Charles “cute,” which left the monarch laughing. “My mother had a crush on Charles, can you believe it? I wonder what she’s thinking right now,” Donald added.
