Travis Kelce has responded to Meryl Streep’s shade at him. For those unversed, the veteran actress threw random shade at the NFL star while promoting her film, The Devil Wears Prada 2. Streep remarked, “The hardest thing about shooting in Milan was walking in stilettos on the cobblestones. I’d like to see Travis Kelce do that.”

Travis Kelce has an interesting five-word reaction to Meryl Streep’s shade directed at him. The Kelce brothers discussed the incident on the April 29 episode of the New Heights podcast. Jason Kelce asked, “Do we have beef with Meryl Streep?” The Chiefs player laughed and replied, “I hope she doesn’t have beef with me. That’s a powerful woman right there. I’m a fan of Meryl Streep. I don’t have any beef with her.”
The Eagles alum explained, “You might wanna wait until you see this clip.” The clip where Meryl Streep shades Travis plays in the background. The brothers broke into laughter as they watched the clip together. Travis replied in a sassy tone, “Oh Meryl, you have no idea how good I am at walking in heels, okay?”
Jason suggested, “I think we should put this to the test.” To which Travis replied, “We have to find some size 14 heels first.” Then the Chiefs TE asked, “What’s the heel, though? Because I wear Chelsea boots. Are those heels?” His brother replied, “No, it’s got to be stilettos. It’s got to be a pointy bottom, that’s why it’s hard!” Seemingly accepting defeat, Travis replied, “Alright, I will give credit where it is due. I don’t think I can do it, Meryl.”
A pissed-off Jason chided Travis, “What are you, a quitter? You are just going to give up to Meryl Streep! You are a world-class athlete, Travis.” The Chiefs TE responded in a defeated tone, “No, I just don’t think I’m going to make it to Italy and walk in stilettos. Tell you what, Meryl, if I ever find myself in Italy on that cobblestone, I will try and find a size 14 and put it to the test.”
