Podcaster Alix Earle commented on the recent spoof of her on Saturday Night Live. The bit appeared on the show’s Weekend Update segment Saturday, May 2.
Alix has been feuding publicly with fellow podcaster Alex Cooper. The two had a falling out after Alex’s Unwell network dropped Alix’s Hot Mess podcast.
The Alix and Alex drama hits the SNL stage
Alix was celebrating the F1 Grand Prix in Miami when the SNL skit was aired. She was played by cast member Veronika Slowikowska, while Chloe Fineman played Alex. Both women sported blonde wigs with black tops.
The skit parodied the influencers’ ongoing beef, which spiraled when Alex addressed Alix on an April 13 TikTok. In it, she claimed the former Dancing with the Stars contestant was creating “fake drama” as a distraction. She then implored Alix to share her side of the feud.
Alix responded quickly via social media, “Okay on it!!” She has not responded since making this comment, other than a video of her reaction watching Alex’s TikTok. The recording includes Alix’s two friends coming into her bedroom. After waking up Alix, one friend says, “We have to show you a TikTok.” After playing Alex’s video, Alix asks, “Is it funny?” Her friends reply, “No.” Then Alix says, “Okay” and laughs.
Alix also posted a TikTok pole dancing video on April 19, captioning, “Sorry been busy filming this week.”
After the SNL spoof, Alix responded to a TikTok user’s comment asking if she’d seen the episode, “Yes, I’m laughing” with a laughing emoji.
Alex addressed their feud on a bunch of Instagram Stories, as well. Here, she also confronted influencer Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia and insisted it was “not a pr stunt.”
