Princess Eugenie, daughter of former Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, announced her pregnancy. This will be her third child with husband Jack Brooksbank.
The couple share sons August Philip and Ernest George. They have been married since October 2018.

Princess Eugenie and Jack announced their pregnancy on Monday, May 4 via a Buckingham Palace statement. According to People, it read, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer. August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family. His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”
The youngest daughter of Andrew and Sarah posted the announcement on her Instagram page, with an ultrasound of the baby and photos of her sons. Her announcement, “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!” was surrounded by heart emojis and a baby face.
This news comes on the heels of a challenging time for the royals. The former prince has been embroiled in controversy since his ties to convicted sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, was revealed. Last October, her parents were relieved of their royal honors and family home.
This past February, there was a claim that the former prince shared confidential information with Jeffrey while serving as the UK’s trade envoy. He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
According to a People source, Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice want to avoid the situation entirely. An insider stated, “They have young children, and this is their grandfather — their focus is on protecting their own children from this.”
Andrew denies any misconduct in the Epstein case, while his ex-wife has not been accused.
