After a settlement following almost two years of legal back-and-forth with his “It Ends With Us” co-star, Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni roamed around Nashville this week with his wife, Emily, looking like he was breathing a sigh of relief.
It is a far cry from the headlines that have followed him since the release of the film in 2024. Now, judging by their smiles in Nashville, Baldoni is ready to leave the Ojai lifestyle and the movie drama behind, starting the next chapter with his wife right by his side.
Justin Baldoni and wife Emily were spotted walking hand-in-hand after Blake Lively settlement
Page Six exclusively captured Justin Baldoni and his wife, Emily, hitting the Little Rad Market in Tennessee on Wednesday after his legal settlement with Blake Lively. They looked like any other couple, holding hands as they smiled together.
Moreover, the outing marked the first time Baldoni publicly stepped out since he and Lively reached the private settlement on Monday, just two weeks before they were supposed to face off in a New York courtroom.
The settlement came after Lively had first sued Baldoni for harassment and a smear campaign, while the actor-director countersued with a $400 million defamation suit. But in the end, neither of them walked away with a paycheck.
In fact, insiders told Page Six that the pair collectively blew $60 million on lawyers just to settle for nothing. And despite the zero-dollar payout, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called the deal a “huge victory” on TMZ Live.
Freedman argued that Baldoni “didn’t settle the case technically,” because the judge had already dismissed the most damaging claims against him last month.
Even with the settlement, things are reportedly not perfectly smooth, as Blake Lively is still demanding that Justin Baldoni pay her attorneys’ fees from a previous part of the case. However, the two did manage to release a joint statement to Page Six. They said that it is their “sincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace.”
