Tom Brady came ready for revenge during Netflix’s live roast of Kevin Hart, turning the comedian’s own event into a brutal counterattack. The retired NFL star surprised the audience at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum and immediately targeted Hart with jokes about his height, career, and most notably, his 2017 cheating scandal involving his wife Eniko Hart.
Tom Brady takes aim at Kevin Hart’s affair in Netflix roast
Before Tom Brady even walked onstage, Kevin Hart had already started throwing punches. The comedian reminded the crowd about Netflix’s 2024 roast centered on Brady and claimed his own event would be “way better.” Hart mocked the former quarterback for sitting through that roast “with the white man’s face” and repeatedly called him “a bitch,” while insisting he could handle any joke thrown his way (via Variety).
That setup opened the door for Brady’s surprise appearance. Dressed in black, the seven-time Super Bowl champion stormed the stage and fired back instantly. “Jesus, do you ever shut the f— up?” Brady joked before taking a swipe at Hart’s family life.
He then delivered the harshest line of the night while referencing his own Las Vegas ties through the Raiders and Aces ownership groups. “I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas,” Brady said before adding that he is “not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas.” He said, “I think I broke another rule.”
The joke referred to Hart’s admitted 2017 affair while Eniko was pregnant. Brady’s callback landed hard with the crowd and quickly became one of the night’s biggest talking points online. He kept the pressure on by mocking Hart’s height and joking that the comedian had been “waiting for daddy to come home” at the Forum for the last two years.
The live roast closed out Netflix Is a Joke Fest on Sunday night. Hosted by Shane Gillis, the lineup included Chelsea Handler, Pete Davidson, Tiffany Haddish, Draymond Green, Regina Hall, and Tony Hinchcliffe. Brady’s surprise set ultimately stole the show and gave Hart a taste of the same roast treatment he helped deliver back in 2024.
