Donald Trump Jr.’s tweet about Iran war in 2024 is resurfacing
An old tweet Donald Trump Jr. made on X (formerly Twitter) regarding the Iran war is making rounds on social media. The tweet has resurfaced amid the growing tensions between the United States and Iran. In the post that dates back to April 2024, the 48-year-old businessman boasted about his father’s power and said how the opposition used to say that “Trump would get us into a full-blown war with Iran?” However, he conveyed that people “should realize how lucky we were to have Trump.”
Now, in 2026, a community note has been added under the tweet. It reads, “Trump got us into a war with Iran.” Thus, prompting a sarcastic response from users on social media. A user on X has commented under the tweet, “This didn’t age super well..” Another user went on to assert, “Remember when Trump he would NOT get us into any war in the Middle East? Times like these should make us all realize how horribly we were betrayed by Trump, his strength and his resolve is non existent as a fraud rug puller.”
The tweet has also become a highlight amid Trump’s statement on the peace talks with Iran. According to PBS, the President termed the conversations as weak. He stated, “I would say the cease-fire is on massive life support. It’s unbelievably weak, I would say. I would call it the weakest right now after reading a piece of garbage they sent us. I didn’t even finish reading it.”
