Michael Rapaport Reveals Plan To Beat Mayor Zohran Mamdani in 2029

Mere months into his tenure as New York City’s Mayor, someone is already looking to take Zohran Mamdani’s job. The Democrat only began his time in office this year, but already, Michael Rapaport has seen enough. Not that he ever wanted to give him a chance.

The actor and podcast host announced he’ll be running for Mayor in 2029. Michael had some harsh words for the current Mayor. He says he is fully committed to replacing Zohran for the top job in NYC in a few years’ time.

Zohran could have a battle on his hands should he seek re-election in 2029. In an interview on NewsNation’s Cuomo, the outspoken actor, confirmed to Chris Cuomo: “I am running for mayor of New York City.” His goal is to take the current Mayor out of office with a “New York City street fight mentality.”

In his interview Michael had a lot to say about Zohran labelling him as the “the greatest bull cr*pper in the history of politicians,” while also calling him “Zohran the moron.” His sole goal is to defeat Zohran in the election. He didn’t outline any policies or changes he’d make in his chat with Chris.

One thing Michael is known for is his outspoken nature, which has gotten him into a lot of trouble.  Earlier this year, his reputation seemed to take a hit after his appearance on The Traitors. He was branded as “homophobic” on the show.

If he were to face off with Zohran today, Michael would have an uphill battle to victory. The Mayor’s current approval rating is at 55%, while only 33% of people see him unfavorably.

Zohran is the first Asian American and Muslim Mayor in New York City’s history. Michael said he’ll stay in the race until a qualified candidate emerges.
