Taylor Swift’s ‘Non-Traditional’ Wedding Move Raises Eyebrows — Report

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding might not include save-the-date cards. According to a recent report, the singer would not send the traditional invites; instead, she would allegedly opt for a more intimate way. She might personally call her A-list celebrity guests and invite them to her and the NFL star’s ceremony. For those unversed, the couple got engaged last year. On several talk shows, Swift has hinted at a big wedding; however, no details about the venue or date have been officially released.

Taylor Swift skips traditional save-the-date invites to personally call celebs to wedding, per report

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly won’t mail traditional save-the-date wedding invites. Sources told TMZ that the pop star might skip this step and take a non-traditional approach to inviting A-list guests. It was reported that she would allegedly call them personally. While she would seemingly pick up the phone and invite some, the rest would reportedly be handled by her team.

The insiders claimed that they would only inform the invitees to “keep their schedule flexible” around their wedding date. The guests would allegedly not be informed about the location, theme, or even the exact date. Reportedly, this direct outreach would prevent information leaks and might also help avoid invitations from ending up on social media.

Earlier, a report suggested that Kelce and Swift’s wedding would be treated as a “high-security zone.” Although the venue has not been announced, a source told RadarOnline that security would be tightened. “Access will be tightly restricted, with layered protection in place to ensure privacy from every angle – they are not taking any chances with uninvited attention,” they claimed.

Meanwhile, speculation about the date and locations has been in the news for a while now. Although it was confirmed as a summer wedding, the month has not been officially announced yet. However, the outlet reported that it might be held on June 13 at Swift’s Rhode Island estate. On the other hand, a Page Six article claimed it was on July 3 in New York City.
