When does America’s Sweethearts: DCC Season 3 debut on Netflix?

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders returns to Netflix for Season 3 on Tuesday, June 16.
In addition to a slew of aspiring newcomers, 30 veteran cheerleaders will be auditioning for 36 spots on the team. The reality show, directed by Greg Whiteley, offers “candid, behind-the-scenes access to one of sports’ most iconic teams,” according to Netflix.
“As the DCC’s global profile grows, the women at the center of it must handle a new level of attention. With incredible opportunities — the first DCC tour, marquee appearances, and growing social media platforms — comes heightened scrutiny and demand for perfection.”
In describing the series, Netflix says, “Against the backdrop of stadium performances and viral moments, the team leans on each other to navigate the spotlight and define their DCC legacies.”
Last summer’s second season highlighted the squad’s negotiations for better pay. Season 2 of America’s Sweethearts, which was released for streaming last summer, revealed that the Dallas Cowboys cheerleading squad received a substantial pay bump after years of discussions.
The Cowboys settled a lawsuit with a former cheerleader in 2019 that resulted in the squad doubling the per-game pay, from $200 to $400. The most recent raise quadrupled this amount for the 2025-2026 NFL football season. Cheerleaders are required to attend many hours of rehearsals, in addition to 10 home games each season, halftime performances and special appearances.
This is not the squad’s first documentary. From September 2006 through November 2021, CMT aired Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.
