Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton have reportedly been seeing each other for the past several months. Though neither of them has addressed the relationship publicly, many called her a “gold digger” and accused her of being after the Formula 1 champion’s money, who is one of the wealthiest athletes in the world.
A source says, “Kim has plenty of money of her own…” and doesn’t need to be “mooch” off of Lewis Hamilton
As reported by Yahoo Entertainment, a source slammed the allegations put on the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star and told, “Kim has plenty of money of her own, so it would be wrong to paint her as a gold-digger who’s looking to mooch off Lewis or anyone else,” and added, “Still, she’s keen for them to build a mega brand together. Those plans are already in motion, and Lewis is totally on board.”
Talking about giving up on her plans to become a lawyer, the source mentioned, “Her own businesses, particularly her fashion brand Skims, are thriving. There simply aren’t enough hours in the day for her to be sweating about bar exams when she’s got a billion-dollar brand to run.”
The two stars have known each other since 2014, when Kardashian was with Kanye West, and Hamilton was dating Nicole Scherzinger. The two couples got photographed as a group at the GQ Men of the Year Awards in September 2014.
Though it is unknown when they first started going out. But they were spotted first together at Kate Hudson’s New Year’s Eve party in Colorado in January 2026, as per Elle. The next month, they reportedly took a trip together to Cotswold hotel Estelle Manor. The same month, they were photographed stepping out for dinner at Aqua Kyoto in Paris.
A source told Entertainment Tonight, “Kim and Lewis are spending more time together and seeing where things are going. They’ve been friends and known each other for years, but are now exploring a romantic relationship.”
