Alex Rodriguez Reportedly Single Again After Jaclyn Cordeiro Split

Yankees legend Alex Rodriguez is single again. The 50-year-old, nicknamed A-Rod, has reportedly split from girlfriend Jaclyn Cordeiro after three years. According to a source close to Rodriguez, the two have reportedly been separated for approximately two months.

Jaclyn Cordeiro has released a statement on her breakup with Alex Rodriguez after three years

Cordeiro, a fitness instructor and a single mother to two girls, told TMZ, “To clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart, but there continues to be mutual love, care, and deep respect between us and for our families. We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here.”

She further said, “I’m also navigating a serious health matter involving a family member at this time, so my focus is understandably there.” And added, “Alex and I continue to be very close, and out of respect for everyone involved, especially our daughters and loved ones, I’d kindly ask that any reporting reflects the compassion and privacy this situation deserves.”

Rodriguez and Cordeiro were first linked in October 2022 and made their relationship Instagram official on December 17, 2022. The 14-time MLB All-Star posted a photo of himself, Cordeiro, and his two daughters and wrote, “From our hearts to yours, Merry Christmas.”

News of Rodriguez and Cordeiro’s breakup surfaced the same week he celebrated his younger daughter Ella’s high school graduation. He posted pictures on May 20 with his daughter, his ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis, their older daughter Natasha, Scurtis’s husband Angel Nicolas and the couple’s daughter Camilla.

Before his relationship with Cordeiro, Rodriguez was dating Kathryne Padgett, who came into his life following his split from Jennifer Lopez in 2021. Rodriguez, who remains one of the most recognisable names in baseball history, has been linked to Madonna, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, and tech CEO Anne Wojcicki.
