Alex Bruesewitz recently shared his thoughts about Cardi B during a conversation with TMZ’s Charlie Cotton. During the discussion, Bruesewitz said that Nicki Minaj’s bond with Donald Trump is genuine. He praised the rapper, saying she has worked extremely hard to reach her current level of success.
The political adviser added that the relationship between the president and the “Super Bass” singer has grown stronger over the years. When Cotton asked about the personal dynamic between Trump and Minaj, Bruesewitz replied that the two are friends.
Charlie further brought up speculation suggesting that Minaj was “cozying up to Trump for a visa,” which Bruesewitz strongly denied. He said, “That’s never happened. There have been no conversations around any of these rumors that people have been spreading.”
He added that Minaj has never asked Trump for anything and has instead been “incredibly helpful.” The 29-year-old also said that the rapper’s support carries weight because she spent more than two decades building her career. Comparing her to celebrities who became famous overnight, he claimed that Minaj is respected because of her craft and the years of hard work she has put into the industry.
Taking a jibe at Cardi B, Bruesewitz said that she does not have the same kind of impact that Minaj does. He concluded by calling Cardi B a “misguided young woman,” adding that she needs help with “personal issues in her life.”
