King Charles Gets Pooped on by Seagull & His Reaction Is Everything

King Charles faced an awkward situation during his Northern Ireland visit due to a seagull. During a recent interaction with well-wishers, a seagull ended up pooping on the king’s jacket. The monarch and his wife, Queen Camilla, are on a three-day tour of the constituent nation.

Seagull poops on King Charles during Northern Ireland visit

While greeting people outside the Newcastle Community Cinema, King Charles got pooped on by a seagull on the back of his jacket. However, the 77-year-old handled the uncomfortable situation gracefully by laughing it off. He continued shaking hands with his well-wishers instead of quickly changing his jacket. “At least it didn’t land on my head!” the king joked, as per Irene Marting, who witnessed the incident. Marting also said, “Being hit by a seagull, it’s supposed to be good luck. We’re so thrilled he’s come to Northern Ireland to see us, and it’s really nice to see him in Newcastle.”

Charles allegedly picked up a roll of toilet paper, calling it “very important,” during a food pantry visit, seemingly predicting the situation.

During their first-day visit, the king and queen spent time in Belfast. First, the couple attended an event at the Titanic Quarter of Belfast, where they were greeted by musicians and dancers. Members of the Belfast Bands Forum were surprised at the royals’ appearance. “The band members weren’t briefed until this morning on who was coming. They didn’t know until the King actually stepped out of the car,” Darren Leighton, Chairman of the Belfast Bands Forum, said.

On Wednesday, Charles accompanied actor and Newcastle native Ian McElhinney to pay a visit to the Community Cinema. He received a “VIP” movie ticket at the place to join film fans. Further, the monarch went to the Pantry Foodbank based in Donard Methodist Church. He acknowledged the hard work of the volunteers and also helped them pack groceries for the needy.

On the other hand, the Queen visited the Parson’s Nose pub and restaurant in Hillsborough. She poured a pint of Guinness and joked, “Not quite the expert, but my husband is.”
