Last week on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 20 Episode 3, Jennifer Pedranti had an emotional sit-down with her son Greyson.
Apparently, Jenn’s 17-year-old son was pulled over for speeding a few months back. And he wasn’t just going a little bit over the speed limit. Greyson was allegedly caught doing 105 mph, the mere thought of which would strike terror into any mother’s heart.
But after opening up to his mom, Greyson confessed that he’s having a tough time. However, Teddi Mellencamp questioned the heartfelt moment between Jenn and her son, saying it felt “rehearsed.”

On Two Ts In a Pod, Teddi said she just “felt like maybe [the scene] was a little practiced.”
Additionally, her guest host accused Jenn of attempting to do a little “damage control.” She knew she’d have to talk about the incident on camera, so she tried to get ahead of it. “At one point, Greyson looked [into] the camera and was about to laugh,” he claimed.
“Yeah,” Teddi agreed, “we were supposed to believe he was crying.”
“Because he pinched his tear ducts like they were pimples!” he added, making Teddi giggle.
Furthermore, as the conversation between Jenn and Greyson progressed, he said he was still dealing with his parents’ divorce. “Every day that he wakes up, it’s hard for him because of a decision I made,” Jenn said in a confessional. “I did that to him.”
“I love you so much, and I’m doing the best that I can,” she told him, wrapping her arms around her son.
But Teddi wasn’t buying it. “When she was all of a sudden, like, [sobbing and] put her arms around him, I was like, what is happening?” Teddi said.
Meanwhile, her guest host added, “Maybe people are mean to him because they’re like, ‘We heard your mom’s getting married in a bikini.” Fair point.
Sticking to her opinion, Teddi clarified that she didn’t feel the scene was even about Greyson. To her, it was more about Jenn’s need to make it about herself and to give herself a storyline.
