She posed in water as splashes crashed around her in the moody shoot inspired by Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, ‘The Odyssey’.
Anne Hathaway makes quite the splash in Armani bodysuit for Elle Magazine
The shimmering black Armani bodysuit featured a sleek, body-hugging silhouette with a subtle reflective finish that caught the light. The sleeveless scoop-neck design clung to Hathaway’s frame once drenched, creating a bold second-skin effect. This amplified the intensity of the shoot. She completed the look with Bulgari earrings. They featured a black base finished with delicate dangling pear-shaped drops that caught the light as they splashed in the water. The choice of jewellery added a touch of understated luxury to the simple look.
Photographed by Norman Jean Roy and styled by Law Roach, Hathaway posed with her arms stretched overhead while water splashed across the frame, giving the images an almost intense energy. Her soaked dark hair, smoky blue colored eye makeup, pale skin, and glossy lips heightened the cinematic mood. Lastly, the crashing water and cloudy sky added to the haunting atmosphere of the shoot.
The editorial is part of ELLE’s larger “Women of The Odyssey” issue, spotlighting the female stars of Nolan’s highly anticipated film. Hathaway stars as ‘Penelope in the film, the loyal wife of Odysseus who spends decades resisting more than 100 suitors while waiting for her husband’s return from war’.
In her interview, Hathaway reflected on reuniting with Christopher Nolan after more than a decade, calling the experience deeply meaningful. She shared that working with the director for a third time felt incredibly rare and special.
