Zayn Malik Event Interrupted by Flying Water Bottles

Zayn Malik’s latest fan appearance took an unexpected turn when objects were thrown in his direction during a public Q&A event. The former One Direction star was meeting fans at Banquet Records in Kingston, England, when the evening was briefly overshadowed by a tense moment caught on video.

The incident quickly spread across social media, prompting concern from fans who worried about the singer’s safety.

Videos circulating online appear to show two water bottles being thrown toward the stage area during Zayn’s appearance at Banquet Records on Thursday night.

In one clip shared by Buzzing Pop on X, a bottle seems to strike a person standing beside the singer while Zayn ducks as another object flies in his direction. Additional footage shared online showed a woman in the crowd appearing visibly upset, pointing and shouting during the commotion.

The reason for the frustration remains unclear. However, some attendees noted that organizers reportedly combined two scheduled Q&A sessions into one because of a scheduling issue. According to TMZ, some fans had waited outside for hours before learning about the change.

The incident arrives at a sensitive time for Zayn. Earlier this year, the singer was forced to cancel several tour dates following a health issue that reportedly required hospitalization. While details about the medical concern were never publicly disclosed, the situation was serious enough to affect planned performances.

More recently, Zayn reassured fans by sharing a social media update announcing he was “UK bound,” signaling his return to public appearances and upcoming commitments.

That comeback made Thursday’s disruption particularly frustrating for supporters who have been eager to see him back on stage.

For now, neither Zayn nor his representatives have publicly addressed the bottle-throwing incident. Fans, meanwhile, seem united on one point: concerts and Q&A sessions are probably better without airborne beverages.
