American singer and songwriter Riley Green has been making headlines with his live shows as he kicks off his Cowboys As It Gets Tour this month. The country singer has officially begun the tour, bringing his music to fans across multiple stops.
Riley Green used a drumstick to pick up underwear thrown onstage during his Maine concert
The 37-year-old singer was performing at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor on Saturday, Aug. 15, when a fan captured a video of him receiving a pair of underwear thrown from the crowd.
The video later appeared on TikTok, showing Riley Green using a drumstick to pick up the underwear from the stage before hanging it on his bandmate’s microphone stand. He then joked, “Ma’am, you dropped those.”
For context, the Jacksonville-born singer has previously made it clear that he does not like picking up objects thrown onto the stage. During an interview, he recalled an incident from a March 2026 show when a fan threw a phone onto the stage.
Green said, “I don’t want anybody to throw anything onstage. No. Don’t throw anything.”
“I’ve seen a lot of extensions go missing. And then they go to put them back in, they’ve got the wrong girl’s hair when they’re putting it back in. It’s a whole thing. We don’t have lot of fights,” he added
This is not the first time someone has thrown underwear onto the stage during one of Riley Green’s shows. During an Audacy interview in 2025, he recalled fans throwing multiple pairs of underwear onto the stage. He said he put them in the trash and would donate them wherever bras are donated.
For context, Riley Green’s upcoming shows include a performance at the Iowa State Fair on August 20, followed by shows on August 21 and 22, giving the singer three consecutive days of performances.
