Audiences are seeing the raw emotional side of Preston Pippen. The son of reality star Larsa Pippen is sharing his feelings about his mom’s alleged affair.
The star of a new Netflix show admits that it’s not been easy dealing with the divorce of his mother from NBA star Scottie. The Real Housewives of Miami star and the former Chicago Bulls star divorced in 2021.
His mom has been linked with several high-profile individuals over the years. That, along with his mom’s friendship with Kim Kardashian, was a lot for him to deal with in his younger years.
What Larsa Pippen’s son said about the alleged affair
It seems like all the negative publicity surrounding his family took a toll on Preston. In the fourth and sixth episodes of Calabasas Confidential, he opened up about that time in his life. He said that his mom was in a “weird place” and in the middle of “a new relationship [as] per usual.” He adds that for him there’s no age where it’s comfortable to learn that your parents are divorcing.
Preston didn’t shy away from his mom’s relationship with Kim. He says that has fizzled out today, but before that, it was difficult for him to handle all the outside noise. “People I thought were my friends would make jokes,” claimed Preston about his mom and Kim’s friendship. He became extremely choked up when discussing his mom and dad. He says the two do not communicate today.
Larsa allegedly had an affair with rapper Future during her separation from Scottie. She has denied that, stating her marriage to the former NBA champion was long over before her links to Future. Preston says that today he is removed from all that drama, and it’s easier to talk about.
In January, Kim discussed her relationship with Larsa. She admits that the two were going through a romantic difficulty, which led them both to distance themselves from one another.
