Kelce caught the attention of viewers when he was spotted chugging a beer at the event. Swift also did not seem impressed by this. The veteran tight end opened up about the incident on the May 27 episode of his New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, also an NFL veteran.
Speaking on the podcast, Jason Kelce called out his brother. “You f****ng classless…You’re a role model, Travis,” Jason joked. “You cannot be out there chugging beers in public.”
During the incident, Swift seemed to be hiding her face and laughing. Travis defended his action, saying it was a “classy chug.”
“It was a classy chug, Jason! I didn’t spill one drop,” he said, “I didn’t crush the can. I’m on the hardwood floor at an NBA game. It could have got messy. It was a smooth, classy chug to get the people going. We’re doing f– 10 points, trying to get some type of energy going in the building.”
While many thought Swift was embarrassed by the moment, the pair were seen kissing and being cozy after the incident. The Cavaliers went on to lose the game to the Knicks, 121-108. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will tie the knot in a July 3 ceremony in New York City, as per reports.
