Donald Trump is once again flaunting his perfect test score on the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), claiming that he has “extreme intelligence”.
However, expert doctors are saying that the test measures cognitive impairment, not intelligence – indicating that the White House is misleading Americans.

“Unlike other U.S. Presidents, none of whom have ever taken an approved, high difficulty, Cognitive Test, I scored a perfect 30 out of 30, considered ‘extreme intelligence,’” Trump wrote. He claims that this is the fourth time he has taken the examination.
This has triggered a significant public reaction, with liberals citing that the soon-to-be-80 is visibly in decline. The president’s health continues to be under scrutiny, where doctors have claimed Trump’s bruised hands, swollen ankles, slurred speech, and factual mix-ups to be signs of various ailments, including dementia.
Cardiologist and professor Dr. John Reiner said that a MoCA score does not correlate with high intelligence. He said, “I’m glad the president did well on the MOCA exam, but it’s a dementia screening tool, not an IQ test, so a score of 26 or higher represents normal cognitive performance, not extreme intelligence,” adding, “None of the questions are high difficulty.”
MoCA creator Dr. Ziad Nasreddine has also declared that the assessment “is not an IQ test,” and Harvard Medical School says that the cognitive screening tests are designed to identify impairment, not to measure intellectual giftedness.
The Trump administration has also claimed that the president is in “excellent health” after his recent visit to Walter Reed hospital, triggering widespread speculation over whether it is a “filtered narrative” by the White House.
However, the dementia theory stands in stark contrast to Trump’s proclamation of high intelligence. Experts say that Trump’s brief episodes of apparent drowsiness and frequent slip-ups are potential indicators of cognitive decline.
