Mike Tyson revisited one of Hollywood’s most bizarre celebrity run-ins during a recent podcast appearance. The former heavyweight champion recalled the moment he allegedly discovered Brad Pitt with his ex-wife Robin Givens while their divorce was still unfolding.
Speaking with comedian Theo Von, Tyson shared the story that has followed him for years, offering fresh details about the awkward encounter. According to Tyson, he arrived at Givens’ home expecting to see her alone but instead spotted her pulling up in a BMW he had purchased for her.

At first, Tyson reportedly assumed the passenger was one of Givens’ friends from her sitcom Head of the Class. Then he realized it was a young Brad Pitt. Tyson claimed the encounter took place while he and Givens were in the middle of a difficult divorce. During the interview, he alleged that Pitt was attempting to receive oral sex from Givens inside the vehicle.
“But he wasn’t Brad Pitt yet,” Tyson told Theo as per RadarOnline. “I didn’t know who he was.”
The boxing icon previously detailed the incident in his 2013 memoir, Undisputed Truth. In the book, Tyson wrote that Pitt looked terrified when he realized who had arrived. “You had to see the look on his face,” Tyson recalled in the memoir, adding that the future movie star appeared shocked by the confrontation.
The story has resurfaced several times over the years. Tyson also discussed it during a 2012 appearance on Conan, where he admitted he was still trying to repair his relationship with Givens at the time and felt devastated by what he allegedly witnessed.
Author Ian Halperin later claimed Tyson even threatened Pitt during the encounter, though that account has never been independently verified.
For her part, Givens has acknowledged that Tyson once caught her with Pitt. However, she has repeatedly denied more sensational versions of the story. During an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” she insisted Tyson never found the pair in bed together.
