Jesse Ridgway Says Wife Allegedly Urged To Leave Him After Pregnancy Termination

YouTuber Jesse Ridgway lashed out at his wife, Ashley Ridgway’s family, who are reportedly encouraging her to leave him after they chose to terminate a pregnancy following a Trisomy 21 diagnosis. The 33-year-old, who is also known as McJuggerNuggets, alleged that Ashley’s family members have been publicly “joining the bandwagon of hate” and “kicking her while she’s down at her lowest point.”

YouTube’s Jesse Ridgway alleges wife Ashley’s family has been “nowhere to be found” amid their troubles

In a video shared on Facebook on June 8, Jesse wrote in the caption, “This video is from the evening after the procedure. My parents drop off an extremely thoughtful gift basket and show unconditional love and support…meanwhile, her family has been nowhere to be found.”

“Some even go as far as joining in on the bandwagon hate PUBLICLY, kicking her while she’s down at her lowest point. She has received text messages from her family accusing me of abuse and that I’m brainwashing her…issuing ultimatums that she needs to LEAVE ME IMMEDIATELY,” explained the YouTuber, who has 4.34M subscribers.

He further added that they accused him of making decisions and manipulating Ashley throughout their relationship. “We’ve put up with a lot of shit, but when it’s your own family exercising their bitterness and turning their backs when it matters the most, it really reveals everything about their character,” he wrote.

On June 3, the couple, who got married in October 2025, announced that they had decided to terminate their pregnancy two months ago after a Down syndrome diagnosis. Jesse wrote on X, “The choice was not made lightly,” adding, “I signed on to be a parent, come what may…But I just didn’t fully understand what Down Syndrome entailed.” However, following the announcement, they faced strong criticism and received “death threats”.
