Donald Trump’s Iran Peace Talks Unravel Amidst Leaked Deal Terms

Donald Trump’s peace talks with Iran were thrown into a state of disarray after Iranian state media leaked a copy of the MoU that claimed Washington had agreed to massive, unilateral concessions.

Specifically, Tehran’s leaked terms claimed the deal included an immediate release of frozen Iranian funds and a mandatory halt to all Israeli military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Donald Trump pushes back on Tehran’s version of negotiations amid the Iran War

Trump wrote on Truth Social, “The terms that Iran leaked out to the Fake News have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing. What they said… bears no relation to the truth.” He added, “Very dishonorable people to deal with. With them, there is no such thing as dealing in good faith.’

According to the President, the signed MoU attempts to extend the ongoing ceasefire by 60 days, giving the conflicting nations time to negotiate matters including the future of Iran’s nuclear program and other pressing issues.

A senior White House correspondent weighed in on the situation that plagued the warring nations, saying, “We’re not quite at the finish line yet, but we’re very close.” According to the leaked information, the contents of the MoU discuss billions in sanctions relief and address Iran’s stockpile of enriched uranium.

According to White House officials like Vice President J.D. Vance, the actual MoU has completely different terms. While the ceasefire extension is true, Iran will receive zero cash or sanctions relief until international inspectors verify the complete handover of its highly enriched uranium and the total dismantling of its nuclear weapons program.

In other news, Trump has left Benjamin Netanyahu in the dark regarding recent dealings with Iran, causing the Israeli Prime Minister to call Trump’s allies to understand the latest developments urgently.
