Eric Trump Calls Controversial Screenshots ‘Completely Fake’

Eric Trump has reacted to an alleged conversation with UFC commentator Daniel Cormier and called the controversial screenshots “completely fake.” The 42-year-old son of U.S. President Donald Trump has denied allegations that he had messaged the veteran mixed martial artist Cormier about fights being fixed at the UFC’s White House event.

UFC legend Daniel Cormier says he was “hacked” amid alleged DMs to Eric Trump

A few hours before the June 14 event, Cormier posted screenshots claiming to show a direct message exchange with Eric Trump. His account briefly shared the alleged messages on X before deleting them. He wrote, as quoted by the Independent, “I’m probably going to get a lot of flak for bringing this to light; however, I refuse to stay silent.”

In one screenshot, Eric Trump allegedly asked whether any of the fights were “rigged.” He wrote, “I’ll just cut to the chase. Are any of the fights tomorrow rigged? I’ve been eying the Lopes fight, and I think an upset wouldn’t be too unrealistic,” reports Yahoo News.

Reacting to this, the 42-year-old quickly took to X and wrote, “This is completely fake! I have never reached out to Daniel. In fact, this is scary.” Addressing the screenshots, he wrote, “This did not happen. They were AI-generated. Please be careful with reporting.”

Kimberly Benza, a spokesperson for the Trump Organization, also posted on X, writing, “These screenshots are fake. They were fabricated and do not reflect reality.”

Cormier, a former UFC light-heavyweight and heavyweight champion, later suggested that his account may have been hacked. He said in a video, “I got hacked or something. Who believes stuff like that? That’s crazy?” He also followed up with a pointed question on X, “Are people really this dumb?”

UFC Freedom 250 was held outdoors on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, D.C., coinciding with President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday. As per Yahoo News, in the main event, Justin Gaethje defeated Ilia Topuria, while in the co-main event, Ciryl Gane beat Alex Pereira by second-round TKO to claim the interim heavyweight title, among others.
