She’s activated. After West Wilson rooted for people to skip the Summer House bonus episode, Lindsay Hubbard just clocked back in to drag him. It’s further proof that we’re a long way from seeing this man back in the good graces of the friend group, and considering Lindsay was the one who brought him into the circle in the first place, she might just be the one to take him out.
The Summer House OG unleashed on her former friend
This latest drama started when West went on his Show Me Something podcast and said that he hoped an NBA Finals game would overlap with this week’s bonus episode, Summer House: The Aftermath.
“If the Spurs win Saturday and they go back to MSG and they play Game 6, it will be Tuesday night [at] the same time they air this f*cking, goddamn bonus episode,” West said. “Give me f*cking Knicks in 6 at the same time as this sh*t on TV. I will be the happiest person in the motherf*cking world.”
He continued, “I swear to God, give me the Spurs Saturday and the Knicks on f*cking Tuesday night, and we will pop champagne on this f*cking podcast Wednesday.”
To be clear, this man was actively rooting for his own show to get buried in the ratings and rooting for his team to lose, all in one swoop. That’s a double whammy, and Lindsay was not about to let the former slide. She took to Threads and made her feelings known.
“Couple of things,” Lindsay began. “1) West Wilson: you are trash. Trying to get people to not watch OUR show that iiiii brought YOU on, you should move immediately.”
She continued, “2) I haven’t seen Tuesday’s Aftermath episode, but I feel it in my bones it is GOOD GOOD. (Even though we know some people didn’t listen, still good!).”
Unfortunately for West, the Knicks won it in Game 5. That means the Summer House bonus episode will have everyone’s full, undivided attention. No champagne for him on Wednesday. Just the wrath of Hubbs.
