Megan Thee Stallion is reportedly taking extra steps to protect her court win
Megan Thee Stallion has reportedly been taking extra measures so that she can give protection to her legal win and successfully collect the defamation judgment awarded to her by the court. As reported by TMZ, Milagro Gramz, the blogger, filed paperwork with the court, requesting a delay in paying the rapper the $75K defamation judgment as she goes on to appeal the ruling. The blogger has allegedly been claiming that does not have the capital to pay the judgment.
In the meantime, per the news outlet, Megan Thee Stallion has given a response to Milagro Gramz’s request. The rapper has allegedly been urging the judge to deny the blogger’s request. The news outlet further reported that the rapper has claimed that the blogger’s pleas regarding not having the means to pay the $75K defamation judgment are exactly the reasons why Gramz should be posting the hefty bond in order to follow the appeal.
Meanwhile, per the news outlet, Megan Thee Stallion believes that the bond is absolutely a just way to hold up the payment of the judgment during the time the blogger’s appeal is pending. The news outlet also reported that, according to the rapper, the bond will essentially give a guarantee about her payment “if an appeals court upholds the previous decision in the case.” The artist also allegedly believes that in case Milagro Gramz somehow wins the appeal in the court and reverses the defamation judgment against her, she could still get hold of her bond money.
