A new report claimed Cruise wants to offer a private pep talk at this stage, not start trouble. However, sources also warned the move could land badly with Kidman, given their own high-profile history.

As per Heat World, Tom Cruise is reportedly reaching out to Urban. The source claimed Cruise has “softened a lot” despite past views about the country star. The insider said the actor now “feels sorry for Keith” after his split from Kidman. According to the source, Cruise believes he is “the only person in the world” who understands that position. The report said he wants a “friendly man-to-man pep talk.”
Meanwhile, the insider claimed Cruise sees the split as a public narrative fight. The source said Urban was being “far too dignified” and getting “crucified” because of it. In Cruise’s view, the singer should “stand up for himself now before he loses the battle completely.”
The report connected the concern to Cruise’s 2001 divorce from Kidman. It also said Urban shares daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, with Kidman. Urban has reportedly kept quiet and continued touring after the reported split.
Still, the report said the Moulin Rouge! actor may not welcome the outreach. One insider warned she could view it as “a declaration of war.” The same source said Cruise was “poking his nose into her affairs.”
