Lindsay Lohan is sharing a rare look at family life. The “Mean Girls” actress posted a heartfelt tribute for her husband Bader Shammas‘s 40th birthday on Wednesday. Alongside her message were candid photos of the couple and their son, Luai. The personal update gave fans a glimpse into the private life Lohan has built in Dubai, far from the spotlight she once knew in Hollywood.
Lindsay Lohan shared a rare glimpse of life with her husband and son
Family was at the center of Lindsay Lohan’s latest social media post. The 39-year-old mom celebrated husband Bader Shammas’s 40th birthday with a touching Instagram tribute. The post featured a series of family photos and videos, many of them showing the latter spending time with the couple’s son, Luai.
Lohan’s message was filled with praise for her husband. “You’re an incredible husband, the most loving father, and the kind of friend everyone hopes to have in their life,” she wrote. She also thanked Shammas for the life they have built together. “The way you love and care for our family, and the joy you bring to Luai every day, means more than words can ever say,” Lohan added.
The slideshow opened with a sweet selfie of the couple. In the photo, Lohan rested her head on Shammas’s shoulder while he smiled at the camera. Another image showed the pair enjoying a quiet moment together outdoors.
Several photos focused on Shammas and their son. One showed the father holding Luai as the toddler looked through binoculars near the beach. Another captured the youngster dressed in a Spider-Man costume while holding a stuffed toy.
Lohan also shared a playful video of Shammas and Luai riding toy cars through their home. In another image, the father and son were seen splashing in a pool together. A separate photo showed Shammas carrying Luai during a family outing. The birthday tribute ended with a simple but heartfelt message. “I love you endlessly. Happy Birthday,” Lohan wrote.
The candid moments stood out because Lohan rarely shares details about her family life. Since moving to Dubai in 2014, the actress has spoken about enjoying a quieter lifestyle. Last year, she described her life there as “very normal” during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Mark. She also explained that she values the privacy the city offers her family.
“There’s no worry of like, ‘I can’t go eat at this place because someone’s gonna take a picture of my son,'” Lohan said at the time. That sense of normalcy has become an important part of her life since becoming a mother. Lohan and Shammas married in 2022 and welcomed Luai in 2023.
