Dua Lipa made one of the most beautiful brides ever in a backless Chanel wedding dress that looked like it was pulled straight out of a dream. The Grammy winner tied the knot with Callum Turner in a lavish wedding in Italy earlier this month. On June 20, she shared the first official pictures from her wedding with her meticulously crafted wedding dress, leaving fans awestruck.

Dua Lipa wore a custom Chanel Haute Couture wedding dress, the first by Matthieu Blazy for a Friend of the House. The figure-hugging dress featured a high halter neckline bordered with trompe l’oeil jewels. Handcrafted in the ateliers at 31 Rue Cambon, the dress had a two-meter-long train. Maisons d’art Atelier Montex, Lemarié, and Lesage also contributed to the dress.
Atelier Montex embroidered 480,000 beads into the dress. Meanwhile, Lesage put in 1,155 hours of needlework into the trompe l’oeil jewels, and Lemarié underlined the dress with 25,000 feathers. The back of the gown reveals a dramatic, low-cut design framed by intersecting jewel-encrusted straps that accentuated her silhouette. The feathered fringe of the lower half of her dress gently separated into the train that pooled elegantly at her feet.
Per Chanel’s official description, the tulle veil featured “a poetic imagery” of embroidered birds and flowers alongside hand-cut organza appliqués. Maisons d’art Atelier Montex and Lemarié put 3,000 hours of handwork into the stunning six-meter-long veil. Lipa’s diamond earrings echoed the sparkle of the jewels on her dress. Meanwhile, custom white satin pumps by Massaro completed her look.
Lipa wore her long, dark hair in a half-up style, leaving the waves to cascade down her back. Her glam also gave a pure bridal feel, featuring highlighted cheeks and shimmering eyeshadow. Callum Turner also looked dapper in a classic black suit layered over a crisp white shirt.
