Candace Owens confirmed her pregnancy while shutting down false reports about her death

Candace Owens has dismissed a viral death hoax and confirmed that she is expecting her fifth child with her husband, George Farmer. The news comes just days after podcaster Lilly Gaddis posted a tweet about Owens’ death, which she later said was posted after her account was hacked.

Candace Owens confirmed her pregnancy while shutting down false reports about her death

The 37-year-old conservative commentator on her podcast, posted on June 22, said, “You guys were correct. I am with child. I am expecting another child. A lot of you guys had sussed that out genuinely within the first four weeks of my pregnancy. I actually found out, I am not kidding, that I was pregnant from you guys. You guys were in the comments, you were asking questions.”

Owens revealed that she is expecting a baby boy and opened up about how pregnancy has affected her emotions. She joked that carrying a son has made her feel more aggressive, saying she has a stronger urge to “physically fight” people, while describing it as a strange part of the experience.

She then addressed the death hoax that had spread online. “I did not die this weekend. People were emailing me, saying, ‘Don’t go out on Sunday because this pre-obituary exists.’ I did not slow down my weekend in any way at all. I just don’t live in that, I guess, vein of fear because it’s just unhealthy.”

A post shared on podcaster Gaddis’ X account claimed that Owens was dead, reports RadarOnline. The now-deleted tweet said, “Candace Owens’ family reached out to me earlier this morning. It is with deep sadness and sorrow that I am sharing the passing of my long-time friend and fellow political commentator, Candace. But I also can’t shake the feeling that this wasn’t simply a random tragedy.”

On June 20, Owens shut down the rumors with a response on X: “Thank you all for the messages of concern, but I am not dead.” Owens and Farmer are already parents to four young children. They welcomed their first son in January 2021, their daughter Louise in July 2022, their son Max in 2023, and their youngest child, Roman, in May 2025.
