Jason Kelce Tells Kylie His Favorite Part of Being ‘Girl Dad’ to Daughters

It seems like Jason Kelce is genuinely going the extra mile to embrace every moment of fatherhood. During his appearance on the second annual Jersey Shore special episode of “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie,” the former NFL star joined his wife, Kylie Kelce, for a candid conversation that ranged from family life to shore memories.

Along the way, he opened up about what he loves most about raising their daughters and even joked about the one challenge he’s expecting down the road. Frankly speaking, these confessions were honestly very relatable for basically all the parents around the globe.

Jason Kelce shares the best and worst parts about being a ‘girl dad’ to daughters

When asked about the best part of being a “girl dad” during the latest episode of “Not Gonna Lie with Kylie,” Jason admitted that growing up with only his brother Travis Kelce meant he had very little experience around young girls. That changed completely after becoming a father to daughters Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and baby Finnley. “I just think how adorable they are, how much you get to play with them, how much you get to see them learn and grow,” Jason said.

But that’s really not all; Kelce even further added that his favorite stage is when children are old enough to express what’s on their minds but are still amazed by the world around them. Jason explained that watching his daughters discover everyday things gave him a fresh perspective on life. “You get to experience the world again through the lens of a tiny human who’s just doing it for the first time,” he shared, saying it reminds him to appreciate moments that adults often take for granted.

As for the toughest part of being a girl dad, Jason admitted he hasn’t really encountered one yet. “Right now, there’s not a lot of negative sides to girls,” he said, before joking that the biggest future challenge would be if every member of the household ended up on different menstrual cycles. Laughing, he imagined a “chain reaction period house,” where “one person every week of the month has their period,” prompting Kylie to quip that the teenage years would certainly be interesting. The lighthearted exchange was just one of many fun moments during Kylie’s podcast.
