Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding plans have reportedly taken a sudden turn, as the couple now allegedly wants a purple carpet instead of a traditional red one. However, there is reportedly a high level of secrecy surrounding every detail of the wedding.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding will reportedly feature a purple carpet instead of a red one. A report by TMZ suggests this is a last-minute change. Workers are now allegedly removing the red carpet that had already been laid on the stairs and replacing it with a purple one.
The purple color holds a lot of significance for the “Opalite” singer. She is known to be deeply fond of it. Her album “Speak Now” and songs like “Lavender Haze” from the Lover era are often linked to her love for the shade.
Meanwhile, reports suggest the couple is trying their best to keep wedding details out of the public eye. In fact, even fashion and jewelry houses have reportedly received cryptic requests from stylists for guests attending the ceremony.
Instead of exact dates, brands are being given a vague time window during which items would be needed. The secrecy is said to be extensive, with NDAs already in place to ensure no information leaks.
Moreover, employees at Madison Square Garden are reportedly not allowed to use their phones while preparations are underway for the wedding. Guests, too, have allegedly been given very limited information about the event.
The pop icon and the NFL star got engaged last year in August. They shared the announcement in a joint post on Instagram. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the couple’s big day ever since.
