Marjorie Taylor Greene recently insulted Donald Trump using his own insult. The former Republican Party supporter has been feuding with the President since her push for the release of the Epstein Files. MTG has previously criticized Trump for his foreign policies.
Donald Trump’s former ally calls him a ‘traitor’ over Iran war
Donald Trump’s former supporter, Marjorie Taylor Greene, recently insulted Donald Trump as she criticized the President for the Iran war. Greene made the comments while speaking on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
She referred to Greene as a “traitor,” an insult which Trump has previously used for the former US representative. Green said, “In my day to day life, Trump calling me a traitor has had zero effect, because everyone knows the definition of a traitor. A traitor is someone who is working on behalf of a foreign country. I would argue that is what Donald Trump has been doing with this war in Iran.”
Greene accused Trump of working for Israel rather than the United States of America. She also suggested that the Iran war has not “helped Americans one single bit.”
Moreover, Greene claimed that the war has affected the financial conditions of American citizens. Her statement follows after Trump faced heavy criticism over rising oil prices due to the war. She continued, “It’s cost Americans tens of millions of dollars – not only to their pocket book, what they’ve had to pay at the gas pump and inflation, but also what it’s costing them in the budget [with] Congress having to spend billions of dollars more because of his bombing campaign.”
She further added that Trump is working for foreign countries and ignoring the US. MTG and Trump had a fallout after she campaigned for the release of the infamous Epstein Files. She claimed that Trump’s labeling her a traitor led to her family members receiving death threats.
